Friday, March 15 A righteous man’s supplication has a powerful effect.—Jas. 5:16.

Friday, March 15

A righteous man’s supplication has a powerful effect.—Jas. 5:16.

We can ask Jehovah to help our fellow worshippers to endure sickness, natural disasters, civil war, persecution, or other difficulties. We can also pray for our self-sacrificing brothers and sisters who provide relief for those in need. You may personally know some who are facing such challenges. Why not mention them by name in your personal prayers? We show genuine brotherly love by asking Jehovah to help them to endure. Those who take the lead in the congregation greatly appreciate the prayers of others and benefit from them. That was true of the apostle Paul. He wrote: “Pray also for me, that the words may be given to me when I open my mouth, so that I may be able to speak boldly in making known the sacred secret of the good news.” (Eph. 6:19) Today, too, we have many hardworking brothers who take the lead among us. We show love for them by asking Jehovah to bless their work. w22.07 23-24 ¶14-16

You can't walk with God while holding hands with the Devil.

Focus on God's will: Acceptable prayers are not just about the personal stuff but about seeking God's will and aligning our desires with his purposes.

ALWAYS Lift the needs of others in our prayers and Remember  (Matthew 6:9-13).

The Bible is what very few want to hear but it's the message that everyone is looking for (Prov. 1:20-23 & 3:5,6).

Thanks, Annie, for the daily reminders in JWTalk. Many are now suffering to some degree or other from the after effects of the Covid pandemic. We are slower, more tired and seemingly more liable to limiting health issues. We have a number who have more serious health issues, and we need to care for these ones, but we also need to be aware of those who give the appearance of being ok, yet we know they are not ok. Many, especially sisters, are sensitive to these ones and we really appreciate those amongst our congregation members who provide needed succour and general support. We thank Jehovah and Christ Jesus for giving us this global Christian brotherhood.
